1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Made a goddamn baby. Also found some booze I actually like. (Not that it's a great help now grumblegrumble). Stayed in a 5 star hotel (haha thank god for cheap travel deals online!).
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember what they were. Uhhhh probably not? Mainly gonna focus on self-improvement next year. Try and get out walking/running more, etc..
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
A co-worker died pretty early in the year. We weren't that close, but it was still very surprising and sad.
5. What countries did you visit?
Sydney is totes another country.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
MONEY. STABILITY.BOOZE. ...a baby?
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
hmmm. August 28, 'cause (tmi!) it's not only my anniversary but also probably when baby was conceived. I'm really horrible with dates...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finished uni, which admittedly is an achievement I'll probably be happier with in retrospect. Right now it doesn't feel like that big a deal. Also solved the mystery of my health that has caused issues for like 10+ years!
9. What was your biggest failure?
ummm. Spent most of the first half of the year majorly acting like someone I'm not (and don't wanna be).
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
hahaha YES. But also discovered the wonders of prescription medication and actually sleep for the first time in forever, so yaaay.

Awesome holiday to Sydney, hands down.

hmmmm. Probably (tabletop) gaming. Most of the games were actually pretty bad and I only kept playing 'cause it would've been socially awkward to quit, when I really should've just quit because now I'm burnt out on gaming in general. :/

Watching the goddamn torrential rain! And wading (yeah, wading) around my backyard! Also eating delicious Christmas lunch courtesy of Theo's mum. Best eggplant in the world fuck yeahhhh.

I fell in love with Theo's mum's eggplant all over again like every single time she cooked it? OH and I became acquianted with Mr Daniels and Mr Walker, though sadly we are going through a seperation due to bun in the oven.

Not enough for the origin of said bun to be concerning.

I watched like no TV this year. Uhhh I guess I'll go with Glee because it was the only show I remember watching in 2011? 8D;;

The pissweak douchebag Occupy Melbourne movement. I'm all for the broader Occupy movement, but in a country with free healthcare, fairly low unemployment, and (relatively) accessible welfare, oh my god you are missing the point so much. Probably coloured even moreso by getting shoved around a whole bunch during that big kerfuffle when I had just found out I was pregnant and was convinced that every slight jolt was INSTANT MISCARRIAGE.
